A prospective section of substantial thickne NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0241 =ss exists throughout the East Gippsland Basin area excepting along the southern NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0321 =margin of T/1P. An attractive stratigraphic trap is located within the southern NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0401 =portion of Vic/P4 where the 1750m contour of Horizon B (Top Latrobe Complex) clo NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0481 =ses against the area where Latrobe Complex sediments are absent. The area of def NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0561 =ined cosure is approximately 20 square miles and includes an inferred anticlinal NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0641 = feature (Feature IV). The areal extent could be much greater if contours deeper NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0721 = than 1750m close outside of the permit area. The eight anticlinal features at t NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0801 =he top of the Latrobe Complex are all potential hydrocarbon traps. All of them r NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0881 =equire additional seismic definition prior to test drilling except for Feature V NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 0961 =II which is an elongate anticline located in the west central part of T/1P with NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 1041 =76m of vertical closure over an area of ten square miles. Thinning and foreset b NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 1121 =edding within the shallower section indicate that the southern boundary of Vic/P NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 1201 =9 and eastern boundaries of Vic/P4 and T/1P are near the limits of the post-Latr NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 1281 =obe basin. There are no indications of the eastern limits of the Latrobe Complex NPD_REMARKS Summary 999 1361 = Basin.
