Similar intrusives w 999 Summary 0481 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=ere found more centrally in the Bass Basin, in Yolla 1 and Tilana 1, where they 999 Summary 0561 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=acted as a regional seal. In Seal 1 only weak hydrocarbon shows were encountered 999 Summary 0641 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW= above the intrusives; the Seal struture is not within the oil window, and post- 999 Summary 0721 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=Miocene migration from deeper sources does no appear to have taken place. (A.Ste 999 Summary 0801 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=phenson 7/1/87) Operators Conclusions and Recommendations: Seal 1 tested the pr 999 Summary 0881 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=ognosed stratigraphy and was a valid structural test. Weak hydrocarbon shows wer 999 Summary 0961 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=e seen while drilling and in subsequent sidewall cores. Although wireline logs s 999 Summary 1041 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=howed minor hydrocarbon saturations in some sandstone reservoirs, no commercial 999 Summary 1121 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=accumulations were indicated. Source potential of the Eocene sediments was gener 999 Summary 1201 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=ally good, as was that of the small section of Palaeocene seen interbedded with 999 Summary 1281 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=the intrusive rocks. The locally elevated geothermal gradient as a consequence o 999 Summary 1361 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=f the igneous intrusives has caused the maturity of the Eocene and Palaeocene to 999 Summary 1441 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW= be unexpectedly high considering their age and depth of burial. Some subsequent 999 Summary 1521 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW= in situ limited volume generation of hydrocarbons probably accounts for the wea 999 Summary 1601 01 HDR GA NPD_REMARKW=k shows and patchy fluorescence seen in some sidewall cores from Seal 1. GENERAL REMARKS 001 RMK_TYPE= TVD_DEPTH RMK= The TVD value (1670) was calculated from the directional survey data in the dbMap database as at 20-FEB-2009, using the ps_well_path_tvd_m function, using the greatest depth value found in the well header.
